Hello all,
It’s the time of year when winter is (hopefully) past its worst tendencies. If you’re feeling like I am, you’re in that itchy space where you have the urge to do something new, or return to something you love. It’s clawing at your insides like a caged animal. I’m here to give you permission to do follow that urge.
In my recent class, I talked about motivation and how to get it.
This is how.
Do what excites you. Take a journey that’s been tugging at your heartstrings. Pick up an art supply that’s calling you. Follow a whim and see where it leads. I’m not saying don’t be practical in the mundane aspects of your life. But when it comes to things you’re passionate about, be a little passionate.
And don’t put conditions on that passion. Not passion after a list of chores. Not passion after certain requirements. Not passion after should, as in I should do this, I should do that. Shoulds will drain passion faster than anything – that’s why you don’t do the dishes before making love.
It won’t be long before you’re caught up in the swirl of obligations again. Soon life will speed up and steal your spare time.
Dive in while your passion is still here.
Speaking of passion…
I am super passionate about the Sunflower Sessions! Sessions are starting soon, and I have an amazing group of creative women forming~ but there are still spots left. If you are an artist, baker, yoga teacher, jeweler, illustrator, gardening planner, Reiki practitioner, private chef, or have any other sort of creative business you’re looking to start or grow, I’d love to have you join us.
Sessions begin in March ~ registration closes March 10th.
*If you’d love to join but can’t make the Weds afternoon timeslot, shoot me a message~ I may have a 2nd group forming during an alternate time.
